Elleon,
I don't know if you're checking this thread, but I wanted to respond in case.
I have great sympathy for your loss. I lost my Dad nearly 2 years ago now and the loss never lessens. My Mom is in a care home. I'm a retired RN; Hospice was my last 5 yrs of Nsg and I truly understand cancer and the impact of progression on loved ones. I'm so sorry.
I've high stress from the marginal care that my mother is subject to in the care home and am unable to get her transferred due to ongoing critical staffing levels. Add to that, all of the attendant estate and medical POA duties, out of state real estate and closure transactions, etc. Stress can overcome our capacity to cope, that's a certainty.
Interestingly, I used to have a twitch in my lids on the right; it lasted for several months off and on. My Chiro attributed it to stress, but I'd had underlying Lyme and cos for decades and I'm sure that was a contributor.
My first instinct with swollen facial areas is to think of glial lymphatic flow. Since you already do yoga, you can easily look into the exercises and massage techniques to increase this brain detox. The cerebral spinal fluid has its own slow pulse that resonates to rhythms in your environment and the brain cleansing truly only takes place in a sleep level that's disrupted by EMF, emitted by cell phones, computers, 5G and etc. With facial swelling and brain symptoms, I think of toxicity and congested lymphatic flow.
I found helpful info on this site: https://lifespa.com/3-ways-cleanse-brain-lymph/ , it served as a starting point to deeper research and products that I spoke on glial lymphatics in another thread that I pasted in here:
'You may want to look into glial lymphatics, much is found in Ayurvedic Medicine, it's the science and practice of brain detox. I do semi-regular deep massage of the nodes, easy to do when at rest. We have a lot of side-facial, temporal, sub-mandibular, occipital, and neck lymph nodes; clearing them helps hugely with brain detox. I use castor or coconut oil and always massage, deeply enough to elicit sl pain, toward the heart. When congested, they soften with directional massage.
BiopureUS and KiScienceUK have flow creams with extensive R&D that a person can use to help open these detox pathways, not to use at night because the blood flow is so increased that it causes lucid dreaming. I use red root tincture to aid the lymphs with clearing cellular and other detox debris (advise using red root with low dose aspirin or when on a regimen of protein / protease biofilm busters to counter its blood coag properties).'
If taking Doxy randomly, you're only driving the spirocettes into cyst form and without using binders, it's a set-up for the neuro symptoms that are part of the whole Lyme & cos complex.
Some primary herbs and suppls specific for brain detox (some previously listed by others): Yucca (can be estrogenic; use Maca, pine pollen for hormonal balance), Kudzu root; for crossing the BBB: Cats Claw, JK, Pectasol-C brand MCP, L-Ornithine for ammonia, and the other basic binders that should be used w/ any microbial treatment. A good article on binders found here: https://www.alisonvickery.com/blog/all-about-binders-and-how-to-use-them. We also need to promote liver function and detox with castor oil liver packs, occ GB/Liver flushes, and CEs can be helpful.
I had a lot of facial swelling after a huge para die off and I had to work hard for 2 mos to detox my way out of that toxic crisis. What I've found helpful for general inflammatory body weight was heavy metal detox, treating parasites and treating Candida; I use Biocidin, an herbal formula for systemic fungal infection. I had 40-50 lbs of weight just melt off after getting thru those, but the herx from candida is real rugged so best to deal with brain inflam first.
I wish you strength and healing during this very hard time in your life. Love your ending quote, ty for posting it.
