OK - ref the research on the likely positive effects - eg antimicrobial, anti-quorum sensing, anti biofilm aspects of these substances sounds good and on target to me
but ref the reasoning on dose / approach - not much of that sounds like a lenient approach to my mind - rather one with high risk of severe adverse effects.
we all want to get well quickly - but after many trials and tribulations i try to force myself to evaluate both the "on target" effects ( the ones i am looking for) i might expect - but also spend as much time considering the potential downsides and unintended consequences of the trials - to at least give them similar weight in my decisions.
very rarely do i find i only get the intended upsides - often i find i get the unintended downsides more than the intended ones - such is the nature of trial and error.
since when self experimenting and self treating - a lot of error is to be expected - so its worth spending some time trying to ensure the inevitable errors are not catastrophic. at least that's how i would look at it
otherwise you are leaving a great deal to chance - even whether you come out the other side.
if you have history of ideation around harming yourself - the risks are multiplied many times
please take stock of the whole experience and try to take some lessons away that will help you avoid similar or worse in the future.
