I’ll ask again.....was your PT only on your feet, or did they do any lower leg work? 🤔
And although there are better tests for these infections than what conventional medicine has....theirs are still not 100% reliable. The older the infection, the less reliable the tests are. So sometimes people just (in addition to taking lab tests) they just start treatment and see if conditions improve.
Even if it is a tick infection it can be causing issues in your lower leg which in turn causes issues in your foot. I’m not so sure you understand what I’m saying ?.....hopefully this is more clear. This is called “referred pain” and many people have never heard about
this common pain condition. Normal conventional Drs are unfortunately many times clueless about
this too. Sad but true. Good PTs should understand it. Chiros that do muscle and tendon work know it. ( but old school Chiros who only crack joints cannot help that condition much).
So even if it is thick infections if you treat your lower leg find tension points which apparently you’ve not done that may make it easier until you actually start treating the tick infections.
From the time you start treating infections to the time symptoms go away can be a long time. Longer time than just temporally manually treating the area which in this case might be your lower leg not the actual foot where you feel the pain. Structural tissues are all connected. The fascia is what connects it all.
