Slight tremor and constant pins and needles sensations

Hi there,

I've had lymes, bartonella and parasites found after ART testing done and was wondering what people think could be causing the pins and needles? Could it be a nervous system inflammatory response or one or more if the infections? Has anyone else experienced this and have you found anything that can help?

Just came here to tell you that I’ve had the same experience and It can be pretty much any of the tickborne diseases that can do this.

My tingling hands and feet with wax and wane so they say for a couple years before it almost became permanent for about three years. And then a gradually went away but not completely away until I got lyne treatment.

My LLMD used many different antibiotics to cover a lot so I can’t say exactly if it was lyme or Bart or anything else that caused this probably all.

In the meantime light massages can help it did help me because I had a lot of tight muscles in the arms and legs they were pinching the nerves. Tight muscles and muscle knots are result from these diseases as well. When they tighten up they push on things that they shouldn’t which in some cases is nerves. You can also Google nerve glides on YouTube which should help this. This is not a miracle but it does help.

Many sick people don’t like to put in more effort besides popping pills but sometimes more effort is required. That was the lesson I learned.

Bottom line is you have to get rid of the infections but that can take a while so do what you can to deal with it for now.

I have pins and needles both in my feet and less often in my hands. I had it in my ears too which was the worst. It is a nerve issue. I forget if it is the Lyme or Bartonella but it eats away at the myelin sheath that surrounds your nerves. For me comes and goes. I'm not consistent in my peripheral treatments but some of the things I found helpful are sublingual Methyl B12 10,000 mcg. I can take it twice a day. Also I rub Grapefruit Seed extract 100 mg by Nutriobitics straight all over my feet, around my ears and just barely inside, also on my eyebrows (I have a lot of head issues). I also put it on other what I call hot spots for me. One of them is my upper inner thighs. Anyway, I use it straight, not diluted as the bottle suggests. It is powerful. It seems to silence things more. I feel everything calm down. I feel less anxiety so I assume it subdues the bacteria. It is a known biofilm buster as well.

On a side note about nerve pain. I had what I thought was an excruciating tooth ache. I made an emergency dentist appointment and embarrassingly there was nothing wrong with my tooth. It was a nerve issue. They are a holistic dentist and used a Red Light Laser Treatment all along the nerve line starting at my upper ear and down the side of my face. After a day the tooth ache dissipated as well as the pins and needles in my ear.

I do still take curcumin and quercetin daily, but at lower doses than I did at first. I'm working on a couple of persistent triggers lately (stress and hormonal fluctuations) and hoping to reduce or stop both supplements once those are under better control. I am not experiencing troubling side effects from them, and I am not aware of any particular risks of taking them long-term, but I think it would be nice to know what my baseline is without supplements, if possible. With spring allergy season, though, I most likely will need to resume them.
