I know this comes up relatively often, but I'm curious where the people who self-treat with pharmaceuticals purchase their drugs.

I just went to several of the websites often suggested for purchasing drugs without a prescription, and all of them were defunct or my browser gave me a safety warning. The exception to this was All Day Chemist, which requires me to give them my checking account information or pay using Bitcoin (nope and nope).

I'm in the US - is it just illegal to purchase (technically import) drugs without a prescription here and that's why the website cannot take credit cards or PayPal? Cannabis is legal in the state where I live, but you have to use cash, check, or debit card to purchase it because it's still federally illegal and therefore credit card companies cannot be involved. Is this straight-up illegal or just a grey area?

I just want to get a corticosteroid cream to try for my partner's psoriasis and would rather avoid the doctor's office hassle and copay. It's not exactly a life or death issue, so I don't want to take legal risks. Thanks for any insights!

I ordered through ADC several years ago.
I think I ended up going to the bank and sending money that way - my bank to their bank.
It was “sketchy” but I was feeling desperate at the time.

Since they don’t ship to Canada I had them mail the “goods” to a forum member who lived in the USA.
She repackaged them and sent them to me.

I was worried throughout the process

Inhouse Pharmacy - accepts checks and money orders
All Day Chemist or Reliable Rx Pharmacy - accepts bitcoin and ethereum, checks, money orders

If you just want hydrocortisone cream, that doesn't require a prescription in the US

Quinn and others put information on my Covid thread about this.

I am in the US, and I was ready to order from all day chemist and it actually asked for a credit card number, which is weird that was not an option for you.

Even though my credit card would cover any credit card theft , I still declined using it, because it can make a paper trail nightmare. I’ve had it happen before.

(Someone bought several thousand dollars of gold with my credit card # one time. The people who did it got busted too, As well as the place selling it since they didn’t double check!)

Does ADC accept credit cards now? This has changed several times, so I'm not sure what the current status is.

Bitcoin can be kinda a pain to use, but your personal info is safe. They don't get your banking info, and they can't take any more money than what you send.

If you don't want to do that, just send a money order to InhousePharmacy. They have you mail it to an address in the US, which takes a few days. They will send the package once the money order arrives.

All day chemist was accepting my credit card number and I stopped with the last four. That was last Tuesday or Wednesday.

I’m feeling old here, (I’m getting there!), I just assume anyone that uses bitcoin is under 35 years of age. I would rather just not get into that lol.

I’ve never done a money order either I associate that with aged boomers and people in the nursing home, ha ha, but maybe I’ll try that to get some Alina just to have on hand.!

i mainly use https://www.buy-pharma.md

they are v reliable

payment is made via a payment transfer 3rd party company - Wise - so you never have to give them credit card details or bank account details

never had anything stopped - but they will replace any order that does not arrive

have used them may times now - service has always been good

i am in the UK though - so there may be some differences eg in US border vigilance
in the uk i think its a grey area also - but not strictly illegal to import medicines for personal use
border security have been known to take a different view
but the worst that will happen is confiscation of the goods
no prosecution unless the quantities were v v large and they also had evidence of you selling them on illegally

alldaychemist as second choice

Garzie, interestingly, your recommendation gave me the options to pay with a credit card (MasterCard only) or bitcoin. Looks like each country has different options, and like those options can change from one week to the next!

Hi Quin,

I've come across your postsa alot frequently and you seem to be similar to me in the sense you don't respond or get great results...even from something like Rifampin.

I've been on Rifampin for a few months and my cognition still isn't any better than is was. Which is really confusion because everyone on here is saying how amazing it is.

Was just curious to know along your journey....what has helped the best with your Bartonella symptoms?

I've been really stuck in terms of treatment and I'm just trying to find people who are similar to me in terms of what is working and isn't.


Or I guess if you could reply to this post and let me know. (Whatever is easiest)

Hi Ryan,

Actually I did get great results treating bartonella, but not with rifampin.

The bartonella infection was completely resistant to rifampin, and also rifampin messed with my adrenals and stained my teeth. Ultimately, I treated bart with valproate, minocycline, atovaquone and azithromycin. I did pretty well initially with just valproate and minocycline, which luckily the bartonella was not resistant to at all. The main advantage of atovaquone is it seems to overcome bartonella's resistance to azithromycin and clarithromycin, so later I took that instead of minocycline since the mino was suppressing my immune system a bit too much. This completely eliminated all my bartonella symptoms.

Borrelia has been a much bigger pain to get rid of. I am currently taking valproate, loratadine, and valacyclovir and it is actually working. The infection is not completely gone, but I am herxing a lot less than a few months ago.
