Vestibular/ocular migraines

Hey! I remember you asked me something about this and I could have sworn I responded in a previous thread but I just noticed that my reply isn't there. I'm so sorry maybe I typed it out but forgot to post it !!

The way I managed my pituitary adenoma was to first confirm with a surgeon that it doesn't need surgery. This was confirmed but I was told to get yearly MRI's to make sure it's not growing. After that, I went to an endocrinologist to handle all my hormones. As you know, the pituitary is behind many of our hormones so that's definitely something to go to an endocrinologist for.

The migraines, I'm not sure about that, that sounds like maybe the cyst is causing pressure, so that might be something to discuss with a surgeon or whoever prescribed your MRI. Maybe a neurologist.

You're very welcome! So I just checked my MRI report and turns out I have 2 of them. I actually thought it was just one. Anyway, it says one is 4mm and the other is 6mm (max). This was in 2016.

It says one of them is "abutting the cavernous sinus" whatever that means.

I'm so sorry but I don't know if it has gotten any bigger because I left the country and have been having issues getting MRI's where I currently am (long story).

Yes, please do see an endocrinologist. It's actually on my report itself, to follow up with an endocrinologist.
