hello all
i am applying for a Lyme treatment grant and one of the required documents is letters of support from people who know me
i didn't know this was a requirement until i got half way through the application and found it was not possible to proceed without it.
the form says
"Upload any supplemental information, such as letters of support from family or members in your community who know you and your Lyme disease situation best.*"
so i guess they just want to hear from people to confirm i am a known Lyme sufferer and presumably one that is deserving of a bit of support
i hate to ask - but i have got this far and hate to bail out of a job half done
so if anyone would like to post a few words below it would be very much appreciated!

Hey Garzie,
I can write you one 🙂 I'll email it tomorrow morning, is that ok or is that too late? Having a bit of a rough day herxing.
Also I wanted to point out that it says member
s
(plural) so I'm guessing the more people the better! (don't want this comment to prevent others from joining in).

I have had the pleasure of making Garzie’s acquaintance through a global Lyme Disease support group forum. His dedication to helping others while battling Lyme Disease himself has been nothing short of an altruistic endeavor. He has devoted an impressive amount of his time and energy to researching the very complex world of Lyme Disease and selflessly shares his knowledge with other Lyme Disease sufferers. Unfortunately, Garzie like so many others, has not been immune to the personal and professional toll Chronic Lyme Disease exacts on its victims. It is for these reasons I completely vouch for his application for a grant.
Best of luck Garzie!

I am a Moderator on the Healingwell Lyme forum.
Garzie has been on the forum daily, reading posts, offering help and support to the members, while at the same time treating himself.
He would definitely be a worthy candidate for this grant.

I have gotten to know Garzie through an online health forum dedicated to Lyme Disease, where we both joined around the same time. He has dedicated a lot of time and energy to learning about
this complex illness and how to treat himself. It is evident from his input on this forum that he is intelligent, compassionate, and highly motivated to find health and healing solutions for himself and others. I feel Garzie would be an exceptional candidate for this grant.

thank you WalkingByFaith and The Dude
your contributions are received with heartfelt thanks.
i have no idea what my chances of actually receiving anything from this application are
but whatever happens - I am really quite touched by all the kind words and as a result i feel honoured - regardless of the final outcome.
as soon as i get the application done i will post a link in case anyone else wishes to apply for treatment support
