Zeobind or Zeolite herx??

I started Zeobind 1.5 - 2 weeks ago. Not every day. I have skipped a few days.

I have been having some troublesome symptoms the past few days. I have had some inflammation in the tissues around my knees with no visible swelling, burning on my tongue, lips and my throat, mouth and nose feeling weird, tension and some burning in the band across the ribs, dry mouth and trouble swallowing, and a kind of tense feeling in my body all over. Hardly slept at all last night and didn’t even feel sleepy but I should have been utterly exhausted.

I have had toxic mold exposure recently and have always associated burning with mold. I have had all these symptoms in the past but can’t definitely identify what is causing them. Still, I am not sure if I am experiencing symptoms of mold exposure, symptoms of toxins being released or redistributing from Zeobind, or mercury or other heavy metal redistribution from Zeobind.

Anyone take Zeobind or Zeolite and experience something similar?

This person had burning and someone said Zeolite is a heavy metal detoxer.

This is what I was wondering about. Even though I have had mold exposure, something about it reminds me of how I felt when I took ALA briefly a couple of years ago.

Does heavy metal detox cause burning?

One reason I wonder if it’s metal and not mold is normally if I have mold issues, the symptoms diminish or worsen depending on the environment. Right now, the symptoms come on and stay or worsen whether I’m in the car, at the house, in the yard, out somewhere.

I had a scary night last night and feel exactly the same right now, so I’m trying to figure this out.

I've been having some "detoxing" too, with taking cholestyrmaine and being on new herbs, it's messed with my sleep as well as my joints. They feel swollen, and my muscles ache, with only a little exertion. So I'd say it's very possible it's a herx. I do believe Zeolite binds to heavy metals as well. I haven't experienced a burning sensation though personally.

What ever ended up happening w this WBF? Was it the zeobind? Did you continue using it?

Nah, it was the mold I took Zeobind for about a year.

That was May 2019. Did ERMI and MycoTox test in June - sky high mycotoxins and a HERTSMI -2 that had gone from 4 three years prior to 18. In early July, a leak was discovered under the kitchen sink. Things were done that dispersed the spores and toxins causing my symptoms to get even worse.

I fled at that point and moved into my car, only going inside with a HAZMAT suit and respirator for 11 months until we moved into another house that we had remediated for mold. Mold has come back and has gotten much worse in spite of running an air purifier on high 24/7.

I have been tempted to flee numerous times already but have no where to go anymore. My symptoms now are much the same as what I described in this post.

Geez, that is awful I’m so sorry. Too bad you can’t move to the desert or something for a while. Mold just sounds like such an insidious neurotoxin

I had a product w Clinoptilolite here, all our discussion on toxins/metals got me curious to try it. Sounds like it wasn’t beneficial to you tho

Oh, I felt like the Zeobind was beneficial. I felt like it improved my symptoms for a while, but then symptoms returned. I kept taking it and stopped after about a year. I will likely take it again at some point.

So I made an account just to post this. When it comes to clinoptilolite zeolite it's basically all the same. The only thing that matters is the size of the powder. Most of the zeolite "supplements" or detoxes are around 10-15 microns.

I run a lot of powder through various wellness centers and I use a few different suppliers.

I buy 20 pounds of powdered FDA facilities only and I pay around $45 for 20 pounds

I would recommend using zeolite to help pull those heavy metals and 20 pounds should last you a year or so, don't over pay using those expensive "supplements"

I took Activated Charcoal the other day and it thinned my blood by so much that I'm afraid this will do the same thing. It either deplete my iron or my vitamin k in my gut. Do you think I will encounter this with zeolite? I am anemic and probably low vitamin k but that isn't confirmed. So bleeding is a huge issue. Also scares me to read that one should start with higher doses of Zeolite if one is sicker. Cause it displaces heavy metal if taken at too low of a dose. Is this true?

I did not take Zeobind again. Looking back now, after a few weeks on it, numbness came back and got increasingly worse. I had widespread numbness all over. After I stopped Zeobind and started TUDCA, the numbness went away for the most part. I wonder now if Zeobind was causing redistribution of some kind of heavy metals. I remember asking MarkF if Cutler had anything to say about zeolite in regards to mercury. He responded that Cutler didn’t think zeolite caused mercury redistribution, but it could have caused issues with some other metals.

Some years before I started using it, Health Ranger said that zeolite supplements were contaminated with heavy metals, and a lot of practitioners stopped recommending it after that. Hard to know for sure.
