Just started Methylene Blue for Bartonella

Thanks Garzie for your info. I am taking Methylene Blue already for one week 50 mg daily I wasn't herxing terrible but all of sudden after a week this Saturday that's yesterday. I started getting stomach discomfort and shaking and tiredness. my dr really wanted me to stat 100 mg Methylene Blue this week Sunday but the way things are going i cant even think of going higher and doubling my dose at least for another week. what do you think. ?

Methylene blue is a safe drug when used in therapeutic doses (<2mg/kg). But it can cause toxicity in high doses. Anyone herx badly or bad side effects? Seem effective against bart??

i have researched this and found only mild adverse effects even at doses over 5mg / kg in the human trials in Malaria treatment

Stopped Taking Ceftin few Months ago but started again 2 weeks ago and herxing like crazy stomach aches shaking away etc.

I am on 1000 mg ceftin and 100 mg dapsone and 250 mg methylene blue daily and I take different supplements as well.

By the way i like dapsone hope to go up to 200 mg . I am taking 30 mg of Methyl Folate a day and taking weekly blood tests.
