Why aren’t you taking “killing agents” if you’re releasing borellia.

When I was on biofilm busters, I was also taking abx to kill what is released.

i don't think any one knows with certainty how quick these things work, as the research in people has not been done

in the petri dish these agents, like enzymes and other biofilm inhibitors or disrupters, work pretty quick - in minutes or hours

the other data point is how LLMDs are using them - typically at the same time as or for a few days before abx - eg Dr J

my own symptoms increase dramatically when taking biofilm or fibrinolytic agents ( there is evidence of some cross over in function, as enzymes like bromelain are able to disrupt some biofilm extra cellular matrix materials - and not act only on fibrin, as the name suggests )

so there may not be any need for long periods of biofilm agents before taking antimicrobials - but i can understand you wanting to stage them over a longer time to help manage herx reactions

the other explanation for increased symptoms when taking them is not so much that it has somehow caused the Lyme infection to get more active ( there is no evidence that i know of for this ).

but simply that the symptoms are driven by our immune response - and so when we dissolve or otherwise disrupt biofilms we erode the physical barriers of biofilm stopping our immune system from being able to get at the bacteria - and with those gone the immune system "sees" more bacteria and starts reacting to them - and you get lots more inflammation in all the places Lyme is living - which of course feels more or less like a flare of the lyme and co symptoms you typically suffer from.
