Sorry to hear you both developed COVID, Girlie.
As for the accepted medications, here's what I found from the CDC and NIH:
https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/your-health/treatments-for-severe-illness.htmlhttps://www.covid19treatmentguidelines.nih.gov/therapiesOn the FLCCC website, following are a variety of protocols. For your situation, look for the "I-CARE Early COVID Treatment" protocol:
https://covid19criticalcare.com/treatment-protocolsI can't personally speak to any pharmaceutical or supplement treatments, as I've never tested for COVID. Thus, I've no idea if I've ever had it.
However, I did have two events (late 2020 and late 2022) where I was affected by "something." I've taken a variety of OTC supplements (Zinc; Quercetin; Cod Liver Oil that included Vitamins A, D, and E; Vitamin C, etc.). There's no way to know if anything helped. I also ended up taking five days of Azithromycin starting on January 1st of this year, following whatever was perturbing me at the end of 2022. Following that, I took a couple of months of a probiotic.
Later, whenever you feel better and have time, I'd be interested in hearing about
the symptoms you and your husband have experienced with this current version of COVID. Were either of you vaccinated, either recently or in the past? I think so, but I can't recall. It's been a while since this was a topic of discussion.
Good luck to you both.
