Running wild- I asked about
how that was possible to have no ACL connection, and yet have both meniscus look excellent thus also, no bone on bone issues. They said a lot of it had to do with hydration, genetics and leg muscle development / density strength /size ratio. That’s the first time I’ve heard of that but that makes sense.
Yes, biked more than ran. And ran more on natural trails, versus concrete or asphalt. I am a medium size guy as far as bulk goes , but in high school weight lifting class- at the improvement test at the very end , I leg pressed more than the school jocks/football team guys, etc. prob I was a BMX racing kid back then, sometimes racing two times a week in the summer . Their reactions were pretty funny when the quiet BMX kid out leg pressed them lol.
I feared the results of the MRI, as I figured with Lyme, there would not be much cartilage left. I was wrong, but that also revealed what I’ve known all along: My tendons are not that good. They could see the scar tissue at the end of the IT band where it goes over the outside of my knee. I have done a lot of manual aggressive tendon work to counteract this issue.
