Saultarus, can you please describe what you mean by severe psych issues and severe neurological symptoms? I was bedridden for months at a time, was disabled by POTDS, gastroparesis, and MCAS (which is neurologically-mediated to a degree), experienced anxiety, suicidality, brain fog, vertigo, mal de debarquement syndrome, proprioception issues, paresthesia, burning, nerve pain, peripheral neuropathy, sensory issues, coordination issues, and lots of other things that fall into the categories of psych and neurological issues. They kept me in bed off and on for four years, so to me that felt severe.
Obviously I have no way of knowing if those symptoms were from Bartonella specifically, or if they were triggered by mycotoxin exposure, Borrelia, Babesia, Mycoplasma, EBV, chronic stress, trauma, something else, or a combination....
I used the Buhner core protocol on a very low dose for a year or so (which addresses Bartonella a little) and used about a quarter of a Bartonella series kit from DesBio. That's all I did in terms of antimicrobial treatment that would have impacted Bartonella directly. What helped me turn a major corner was addressing mast cell activation syndrome (low-histamine diet, curcumin, quercetin, cromolyn sodium, bromelain, vitamin C, DNRS limbic system retraining) and dysautonomia (some of the MCAS strategies helped with this, too, plus loads of salt and restorative yoga). CBD also has been helpful for basically everything.
Yea I have naseau, skin burning , throwing up , brain burning , feet pain , leg pain , neuro issues.
