Herxing one sided MUCH worse

It moves around a lot. The bacteria will break down in one area and hurt for a while, then after a few days, a different area will start hurting.

Borrelia does seem to have a preference for invading muscles and joints that don't get used as much, so there are a few spots that I have found harder to eliminate than others, but I herxed nearly everywhere to varying degrees at different times.

My symptoms have always been worse on my left side.

Yeah maybe take a break, take a binder like cholestyramine or active charcoal, or use palliatives. Definitely talk with your provider, about how to make it less painful. And in my experience, yes the pain is "migratory" as they say, it can travel anywhere, one side or the other, or both.
