Hello all,
I am in the process of considering what route to take next in terms of treatment for active Lyme. I've been ill for 8 years and discovered my issues are Lyme-related close to a year ago.
I've finished 9 months of Cowden, but my symptoms are no better. A frequency scan showed that plenty of detox has taken place but the Lyme is still very much active. On a daily and constant basis, I deal with chills, sore throat, and 24/7 headache. I also have joint pain and other symptoms that are less prevalent but do occur fairly often. I realize that treating Lyme after having it for so long will take much longer than 9 months, but I am re-assessing what to do going forward.
I'm looking into IV treatments such as Ozone therapy, high-dose Vitamin C, and Glutathione. My immune system is certainly weak when I am not taking 20 immune boosting supplements. For a while I didn't catch any viruses that came into my family, but when I had to wean off them for a surgery I quickly caught one.
Those of you who've tried IV treatments, what was your experience? Did you feel any better / notice any benefits even if it didn't eradicate your Lyme? Are they worth getting?
