i think people with lyme and co can have reactive blood pressure spikes - either in response to stress - or just randomly

we have had members post before about random dangerously high spikes in blood pressure - and i have a kind of more predictable but exaggerated blood pressure response to stress

so my guess is its just another of the many weird and wild symptoms that can occur

herxing is often a stressor in itself - so this could trigger either the random spike - or the exaggerated stress response type of thing ( i have noticed mine goes up a little when i am herxing - but not as much as say at a doctors appointment )

i doubt its a drug reaction per se

My LLMD stated that bartonella is more likely to cause low - to chaotic changing blood pressure paired with (if severe) pre-syncope. Borrelia on the other hand - he said - is more known for the higher blood pressure, heart palpitations, AV-block and other stuff.

I don't know if that is widely used knowledge or just what he said.
