Today marks about a year since I came down with neuro lymes tested positive through Mayo. I was on a month of Rocephin and it cleared my joint issues for the most part. Felt awful otherwise however, that's when Mayo informed me they were done treating - no surprises there...
So I have been seeing a LLMD since Jan 2023, and have been seeing some improvements. My remaining symptoms are fatigue, some minor headaches and eye floaters. The worst are the bladder issues - which started in March of this year and have not let up. I am seeing PT for pelvic floor disorder and have seen minimal improvements. It pretty much rules my life right now, my leg muscles are extremely tight and sore - as well as pelvic muscle tightness. Frequency and weak flow are a daily fight -perhaps unrelated to lymes and coinfections? Right now I'm trying to put the pieces together and am trying to figure out if I'm battling babesia, bartonella - or both? My LLMD thinks babesia and we have been treating accordingly. Below my current meds list:
Azithromycin 250 mg once daily
Ceftin 500 mg twice daily
Malarone 1 tablet twice daily (01/13/2023)
Probiotic 2 capsules daily
Crypto-Plus 20 drops twice daily
Boluoke 1 capsule twice daily
ATP 360 3 capsules daily
Meloxicam 15 mg daily
Quercetin 2 tablets twice daily
Artemisinin 4 tablets twice daily F, Sat, Sun
Allimax two twice daily. - didn't notice a bad herx from that.
The artemisinin absolutely causes the worst herxes, with the crypto plus a close second (although I am at full dose with that no problem now). What does this indicate? Where the heck does a guy go with this? Also - god bless those in the fight right now.
I have lyme and bart tons of bladder issues. Thought it was from co infections until it hurt so badly I almost couldn't urinate. Just found out I have stage 4 endometriosis of the bladder. As a female, make sure to get checked.
