T.....I counted like 25 symptoms. One key thing for me was to keep track of all these symptoms on a daily basis. I am quite obsessed with numbers and data and I created an excel file with a table in which I tracked down the 25 symptoms each day. I categorised the symptoms in different ways, but in a numeric way, simple way. Then I graphically represented the total (addition) of all the symptms metrics and also the moving averages.
Why am I explaining this? Because I represented in parallel the different combinations of abx I was taking at any moment and quite clearly I saw the combinations working for me and the ones that didn't.
well done on taking a systematic approach to guiding your treatment
i recommend anyone self treating do take a similar approach - because otherwise tracking small changes over time ( which is to be expected if there are no silver bullets) is extremely difficult to near impossible.
weather, mood, day to day diet changes, changes in our thought processes and beliefs over time etc, etc all conspire to alter our subjective measurements of our health indicators without us being consciously aware of it.
This is where a systematic, objective and repeatable method of assessing progress over time becomes invaluable
i do the same - also using MS Excel - but there are free alternatives that will work just as well - like the Excel equivalent in libre office of
open office - or google sheets in a free google account
this needn't be an overly time consuming process- each day can mainly be a copy and paste of the column from the day before - with just a few alterations for what changed
if anyone is interested i have posted more detail on how to do this and even provided a simple template to download - see my other posts with user palermo for more info
thank you for sharing your experience
all the very best !
