Or with a more medical term, I did a fecal transplant. I swallowed capsules with poop, the donor was a 14 year old girl.
It's the second time I did this.

My most debilitating symptom is my broken brain. I have such a hard time thinking logically, my short term memory is broken and things feel foggy all the time. Lack of motivation (lack of dopamine). Forgetting more advanced words, forgetting how to spell properly. I hate it! I used to be very smart and I just can't accept being a lot dumber.
The root cause is my gut. Sibo / candida. I've tried all the antifungals and they work at first but then stop working after a while. I think the sibo is mostly solved but the candida is very resilient.

The first time I did a fecal transplant, my head was fog free in the evening. I could read a book and actually remember what I just read. It was amazing. My tongue wasn't white anymore. But it didn't last, the candida was too strong. My brain fog came back the next day. But still, there was some permanent improvement. The fog was a bit less and thinking was slightly easier.

Now I did a double dosage, two days in a row. I feel happier today, so more serotonin and dopamin I think, but my mind isn't as clear as the first time. I'm very disappointed.
I'm also scared of continuing with antibiotics now, otherwise what was the point of improving my gut. I'll switch to herbs.

I've also realized that the root cause is my gallbladder not working properly and not enough stomach acid. I'll try to focus on those two things.

Anyway, just thought it might be of interest to some of you.

No doctor. It's a European company that looks for donors and does all the testing. Then they basically just put the poop in really big capsules and you have to swallow them. There were 24 capsules for one dosage. Everything is frozen, the box it arrived in was filled with dry ice. They regularly test the donors, the one I used didn't pass her test the last time so I think that supply is almost gone.

Last time my gut microbiome stayed stable, and my mind less foggy, as long as I only ate meat, veggies and rice. Which I did for half a year.
But I really missed bread and then things started deteriorating again.

No, they just supply the poop.
Those clinics have low standards for the donors they use, I don't trust them.
I also don't think it's necessary to use antibiotics beforehand. The transplant itself will kill (outcompete) candida and unwanted bacteria. I can still feel myself herxing, even after a couple days. Last time my joints etc hurt for more than a week.
