Hi, needhelp4!
I'm sorry that things have become so challenging again. Anxiety is such a terrible thing to deal with. Do you have any other symptoms flaring right now? Was anxiety one of your primary tick-borne disease symptoms before? Have you been doing any sort of treatment since you were last on the forum, antimicrobial or otherwise?
Skimming through your old posts, I can see that you have tried a lot of things, but here's a brainstorm, just in case something is helpful!
- tapping (EFT practice)
- calming supplements: chamomile, passionflower, lemon balm, kava, valerian, L-theanine, CBD, indica strains of cannabis
- adaptogens: ashwagandha, rhodiola, holy basil, eleuthero, etc.
- supplements that increase serotonin: bacopa, Saint John's wort, 5HTP, SAMe
- pharmaceuticals: Wellbutrin, SSRIs, SNRIs, benzodiazepines
- mental health therapy (especially CBT, IFS, group, etc.)
- limbic system retraining (DNRS, Gupta, etc.)
- movement: yoga, tai chi, qi gong, walks
- essential oils (topical, ingested, diffused): lavender, orange, etc.
- bodywork: craniosacral therapy, massage
- acupuncture or acupressure
- mindfulness, meditation, guided visualizations
- Curable chronic illness app, Calm app, Headspace app
- vagus nerve toning exercises: humming, gargling, gagging, breathwork, laughter, etc.
- breathing exercises
- full-spectrum light lamp therapy
- dietary changes: no sugar, gluten, caffeine
- evaluate for mold exposure (lots of your symptoms fit with mold)
- evaluate for mast cell activation syndrome
I hope you find relief quickly!
