ivermectin - 12 milligrams 3x per day
praziquantel - 600 milligrams
tinidazole - 100 milligrams 3x per day
fluconazole - 100 milligrams 3x a day
nystatin - 500,000 units 3x a day

I don’t think ivermectin, praziquantel and nystatin are used for Lyme. Ivermectin and praziquantel are for parasites and nystatin is for Candida. I don’t know about the other two!

Lyme is caused by a bacterial infection which is not the same as parasitic infections like worms etc which is why the treatment is different

some drugs designed originally for other purposes have activity against bacteria and spirochetes by complete accident

not because they are worm shaped

purely by some chance event that a chemical designed for attacking a specific pathway in say a nematode worm or fungi - by accident has what are called "Off-Target effects" and interferes with some other pathway in a different organism ( not the the original target).

we cannot predict these based on the shape of an organism - and often the exact mechanism by which they work - since it is not the originally designed one - is not known - and its rare for anyone to pay for the research needed to identify it.

these type off off target effects are often discovered by trial and error - eg by the large drugs screening trails done by Johns Hopkins for bartonella - where they found azole antifungals - despite being designed to target fungi not bacteria - are in fact also active for bartonella.

the term parasite is very broad - and open to much misinterpretation - for instance any organism that relies on its host to survive - but confers no benefit to that host - may be descried as a parasite -

this may be a worm, a singe celled animal, a bacteria, a fungus etc - but in common use the term parasite is often used to refer to mainly helminths ( parasitic worms). hence - "antiparasitic medications" are typically those targeting parasitic worms.
so this broad term does not mean that they will be active for any organism that qualifies as a parasite - they might be active for some - due to the above off target effects - but it is not implied.

its quite interesting because i just had two of this med. And i had strong herx from ivermectin. In my opinion i think it was herx from bartonella infection. iver can be very effectiv to it. So the other point is praziquantel ! i took it for 6 days and i lost so much roundworms and othter stuff. so even if its not hiting the target lyme. It hits a lot of biofilms shelter and worms that also puts your immunsystem down. I think everbody who has chronic lyme and stuff should do an parastie clean. Look at klinghards videos.. we all have them...i was shocked when i saw what came out living inside me....
and another point, they para meds dont feel so bad like abx.... the sideeffects and stuff..
