Omadacycline (Nuzyra) is very expensive, if you can even get it.
It's unlikely to be any more effective on borrelia than any other tetracycline.
It was designed to work around ribosomal changes and efflux pumps. This might work on bartonella, since bartonella is known to use efflux pumps to resist antibiotics. However, I found that I could take out bartonella's efflux pumps with atovaquone, and then use common antibiotics like azithromycin and minocycline.
There are much better (and cheaper) options than omadacycline.
