Update on my mysterious digestive problems that started in June 2023, and it seems like my insomnia might be a related symptom of that.
After obvious evidence of fatty stools for almost 2 years, without me explaining the details, lol, the digestive doctors only found one thing which was low pancreatic enzymes. They only tested for one of the H pyloris also, Which was negative. It kind of seemed like it might’ve been some sort of a bile duct blockage, problem, but digestive doctors don’t really test or do anything for that.
Adding supplemental enzymes and ox bile seem to help, but not really that much. I was also eating a low carb diet, which has a little more meat in it than a normal diet, and this made things even more difficult.
After running out of ideas,I recently decided to use some of my old supplements from when I had digestive candida many times in the past, which I developed antibodies in blood tests several times before.
I call those “hot” herbs, and even though the now brand and other brands are aimed towards Candida, they can kill off other digestive overgrowth as well.
In the past when I had Candida, it was more upper digestive stomach, and higher. But I also had itching all over my body. What I had going on this time seems to be more intestinal , which I’ve been reading about
it is also possible and I also had more general overall body itching.
I did not retest antibodies this time, Just started taking Anti-candida supplements. Then all of a sudden what I’m leaving in the toilet starts to look more “normal”. And although not April fresh, It certainly didn’t smell like a skunk just wandered through my bathroom (Like before).
What I am wondering is, if someone can have a more localized pathogen infection in one of the bile ducts Creating temporary blockage. It’s almost like Killing off digestive pathogens improved my natural bile duct flow.
(I did a gallbladder flush, which took around three days from start to finish one weekend last January which really did nothing for bile flow or make any change to what I’m flushing down the toilet)
And Oddly enough that my gut seems to be working more normal, I seem to be sleeping better.
My gut has improved more than my sleep has,…so I don’t want to totally jinx myself, but they Certainly seem related to each other.
