Listening to DCDs advice is a good idea. I'm just here to say I had twitching in my calves(and the rest of my body but calves were most severe) for 7-8 years. It's slowly improved over time, I did have IVIG for a while but proved too expensive. Anyway now years later I would say it's 90% better.
I should add, while IVIG helped during probably the worst health period of my life and gave me great relief, I think for twitching I had the best results with physical treatment options. Wim Hoff breathing, moderate physical exercise, yoga, adjustments in morning routines(prayer, light therapy and caffeine intake) than I did with any antibiotics or medical treatments. Everyone's path is slightly different though.
