i think there is plenty of research that shows there is correlation between oral health and overall health

if teeth are actually diseased - and colonised by pathogenic bacteria that are infiltrating the gums - then there is an argument for having them removed

but otherwise healthy teeth should be retained.

having root canal work or teeth removed is a v unpleasant and invasive process - so i would get a second opinion before opting to have any removed.

Since a tooth infection that escalated to bacteremia (bacteria in bloodstream) i have the ME/CFS through criteria.

Also i noticed massive Plaque and Biofilms on my tongue i treat aggressively with Copper brushing, lactoferrin and Xylitol mouth wash.

So yeah i think a dead tooth can shatter your immune system.

I had dental surgery at a biological dentist which made a huge difference and significant improvements in my health!

I had 4 wisdom teeth removed. I can’t remember if it was because some of the teeth were infected or because there were cavitations (holes in the bone) underneath the teeth or both. I think it was one of the other or a combination for each area.

Dr Klinghardt is a big advocate for this, especially if people aren’t recovering or plateauing with their treatment. If we have cavitations or holes in our jaw bone, Lyme and Co like the go into this area. Treatment cannot reach this area so the infection stays hidden then and continuously ‘leaks out’ into the rest of our bodies’ so you have to keep on treating.

It’s important to get this kind of work done with a biological dentist otherwise it can make the situation even worse. Regular dentist remove the teeth and leave the holes open whereas biological fill with your own blood plasma. They also ozone the sites to kill any infection and often provide IV treatments of vitamin C after to prevent future infection.

My cavitations didn’t heal properly for various reasons so I might get them done again in the future. There are things I would have done differently looking back to improve the outcomes of the surgery so if anyone goes ahead with this kind of surgery I could share this.

I had bleeding gums for many years - since I was a teenager - maybe even before that (can’t remember)

Most Dentists were completely shut down during The first year and a half of Covid, and that sent me back ,…and I gained a few cavities.

In the process of of that, the Dentist that I had for the last 25 years, decided to finally retire.

Looking for a new trustworthy dentist Who does not break your bank account, is not easy.

Two of them that I went to seemed like they’re interested in making up cavities that didn’t actually exist. The dentist I finally found basically proved that they were Somewhat fraudulent.

Anyway, I wrote a post here about two years ago about teeth, my experience with finding a new dentist and asking about better than toothpaste brands versus what the grocery store sells.

So the last two years I’ve used “carifree” Gel 1100 anti-cavity toothpaste off of Amazon. They also sell off their own website; they have mouthwashes to. They definitely seem to work better than every day mass-marketed brands.

If these worked better for me, they will definitely work better for Most others here, (I have primary immune deficiency/ a blood immune cell disorder).
