Funny I just started the Primal Trust! I hope it helps you (and me)
Mestinon really helps my POTs. Its the only thing keeping me functional and has very few side effects and is cheap. It increases acetylcholine which activates the parasympathetic to even out the vagal tone. If anyone has severe POTS I'd ask about
a prescript
ion.
As for these expensive tVNS devices, been doing some research. Most of them are like $500-800. What I found might be helpful so I'll post.
What matters is the output of the device. I found a paper which describes a few different devices out there and their outputs. The cerbomed NEMOS tVNS received CE-Mark approval in Europe for anxiety and depression, so I checked out the output.
The output is 25Hz, .25ms duration, continuous. I spoke to some people in the dysautonomia forum and found some who used exactly this output w/ a TENs device w/ tragus ear clip and got good results. So you can recreate it for all of $50.
