I am now in week 5 of treatment..approaching 6 on monday... My symptoms started the beginning of August and I received a diagnosis and started treatment August 25th.. I don't know when I was bit..  I had no rash... I am seeing an LLMD.. I found out I also have Babesia... I will start tx for that in one month...I know everyone is different, but does anyone have any idea on what my prognosis may look like?  I have seen improvements over the 5 weeks... slow, but improvements, with times of herxing in there as well... Three weeks ago, I didnt leave my house.. Now, I can leave my house .. I have gone out to dinner.. things like that... I am now on 400 mg doxy--and taking supplements such as Zrii nutritional drink which my LLMD swears by, AG immune, Fish oil, and multivitamin

  Happily, much better than most of us who post here.  You were among the very few of us who got properly diagnosed and began appropriate treatment soon after becoming symptomatic. Generally you have a much better chance of becoming completely symptom free and maybe even in just a matter of months, rather than years like those of us with chronic disseminated Lyme.

I'd encourage you to add some detox protocols to your treatment since those toxin are really caustic to the body in a number of ways.  You want that stuff out of your body as quickly as possible. What does AG Immune contain? If it doesn't include CoQ10 you should consider adding that.

You sound a lot like me. I had symptoms for less than a week when I was diagnosed. I went thru a month of low Doxy (200mg) and a few weeks later it came back. I am now on week 3 of Doxy (400mg). I feel SO much better. It took about 10 days on the Doxy when I started feeling good again. I am hopeful.

Just wanted to add too that I never had a rash so I don't know when I was bit either. What were your symptoms?

at first my symptoms were just alot of fatigue... as time went on and actually since starting the meds, i had bad headaches in the back of my head, kind of more like pressure.. some facial numbness which has been gone for awhile, and some joint pain , and nausea... its great that you got diagnosed so quick.. i had about a month of misery before finally getting answers.. but i know that is alot shorter than most others on here... i wasn't able to do 400 quickly so I had to build up to it.. I've been on it for only 3 days so hopefully this higher dose will make a difference :) good luck.. let me know how you're doing

My first symptom was a swollen knee. I didn't think much of it since I was running a lot (also I had broken my kneecap in highschool). I am glad I went to the doc when I did. I saw a NP. Her first thought was Lyme. I am glad I saw her. I had the blood test a couple of days later and during my wait for the results (I though the idea of me having lyme was insane) I started having tingling. It started in my ankles, then moved around.  It was all through my back, shoulders, neck. It was awful. Keep me updated on your progress too.  I hope you handle the 400mg alright.  Just make sure to eat enough with it.
