Does anyone have trouble with their teeth that can contribute it to Lyme? I have one problem after another and my dog who had Lyme had horrible looking teeth. Is there a connection and does it involve the blood flow to the teeth as well? Anyone have dental problems?  Thanks-

I have recurrent dental pain that has no identifiable cause, which is a known Lyme symptom.
Because Lyme can do so much to the body, I would not be surprised if it could cause dental problems. Vitamin C deficiency (or insufficiency) can markedly affect the teeth and gums. You might try finding a biologic dentist to see if they can shed more light on your situation. Good luck,

Thank God, I haven't had any LD related dental problems. I do rinse with 1/2 Peroxide 1/2 water and baking soda one or twice a day and I also use regular toothpaste.

I now have to add "dentist" to my ever growing list of exams, tesing and doctors to see... it never ends.

I have had a lo of tooth pain throughout my mandibular cavity. I just had to say "mandibular cavity"since I don't get a chance too often. A few weeks ago, my teeth were very sensitive. They all hurt. They are better now. I am waiting on my latest Vitamin D and other labs to come through to see if there is anything amiss. In the meantime, I seem to be developing a case of oral thrush with white plaques and some chancre types of sore, so going into my LLMd tomorrow to get it checked out tomorrow.
