Inability To Focus?

I have been having, in addition to dizziness and feeling lightheaded, an inability to focus. I wouldn't say it's blurry vision, but it's definitely annoying to the point that it's hard to concentrate. My vision has is 20/20, so I don't need glasses, but I'm wondering if this is from Lyme or not? It's so hard to pinpoint with the myriad of symptoms, what is Lyme and what is not.

I have that issue as well. For a long time I thought I need a new prescription for my glasses, but then I had a good day and could see clearly. I believe it's the lyme. It's much worse for me on herx days.

It sure makes it hard for me to work!!

Hi Bella.  Have you ever had your adrenal, hormone, and thyroid levels tested?

Hi Ticker,

My thyroid was tested in 2007 and I was told it was fine. I don't think I've ever had my adrenals or hormones tested. They always test my electrolytes for some reason but I am always within normal limits.

 I have the same problem with focus from time to time. I also have trouble remembering words at times.

I too had horible vision problems. Regular doctors just told me to get glasses even though I had 20/20 vision. After seeing an LLMD and getting two prescriptions did it clear up. 500mg Cipro and 200mg Diflucan cleared up my vision in two weeks. I was suposed to take the Diflucan for 5 days then one a week for five weeks.  I could not see the instructions and took one everyday for ten days. I thought I was going blind and it was very scary.

I don't know which drug did the trick and am not sure if lyme was the problem or bartonella.

I still have small bouts of vision problems but not even close to before. It also cleared up most of my mental confusion.

I just wish my body would follow.
