Found a very informative Book about Lyme, that will not make you cry!

I have read all the books about Lyme. Cure unknown was a scary book and make me want to jump off of my roof. Having my whole family sick with lyme I wanted answers and some options.
The book
Coping with Lyme Disease, third edition, By Denise Lang is very informative and gives the reader some hope and some answers. It is a easy read and will leave the reader with some good knowledge and some sense of direction. I found mine at Barnes and Noble and after reading it I orderd 15 more and I pass them out to any one that I care about that has a bunch of kids who play outside...and of course I force them on people who summer in the norhteast.
The more you read and educate yourself about your battle with Lyme. And believe me it is a battle! Stand up for yourself. Get smart, and know what you are up against. I have found that every book that I have bought says almost the same thing.
Yet the one thing that they do not seem to agree on it weather Lyme can be sexually transmitted or not.

Well....I have never read that you can get Lyme from a animal, unless you were to get the urine of the animal say it splashed in your eye. That is actually how the man " Burgdorferi" sp? Who this nasty little virus was named after. He got lyme that was from a rabbit.
But my dog got it at the same time as me, and he has not given it to my other 4 dogs, and he did not pass it to his female companion of 4 years.
But....I am confused too about the sexually transmitted side for us as well. I have read a lot about it and it seems to be a split. I have never given it to a man. My boyfriend does not have it. But then again, it does not show up in my blood work either. I have all of these other things that are wrong with me, but it is because my autoimmune system has been hit by this disease.
My opinion is that it would be easier for a man who has it to pass it on to a women, being that he fills her up with his bodily fluids. But that is sort of like the whole aids deal too.
The place where I am being treated in scottsdale arizona says that for sure you can transmit lyme sexually. My last intern told me that I do not have lyme but have epstein barr.

My boyfriend does not believe he can get it from me. Because I do not look sick, this is so dumb. My x husband lived in Martha's Vineyard. So? It could explain why he was in such a fog all the time. But who knows. Protect yourself.
Most people do not see the tick. The babies are the size and color of a grain of salt. Only 50% get a bullseye or rash. It is so darn tricky. I do think the tick gave it to me, because I went down in flames when I found it, like I had been drugged and then the high fever..and the neck pain and then whammo...it hit me like a ton of bricks. You know it when you get it. ....lol..does that help at all..:>)

I don't know why the forum moderator made a comment to me above. Was it because I said the word sex? My daughter has sex education in school. She attends a private school. I don't know any kids that are in Junior high who have not heard the word sex, nor do I think that teaching a child that things can be sexually transmitted is harmful. To the contrary.

I feel better than I have felt in 4 years.

Abx did work for me for many years. Maybe this is why the New England of medicine who the whole world follows, also say that taking abx does not cure lyme.

I am not interested in being on a site that thinks that Dr.s are evil and that the New England journal of medicine are out to kill people.

This site is totally against the best medical the best Dr.s in the world. I am looking for answers to help people. That is what is important.
But making people scared out of their minds and pushing the "cure unknown" is not productive.
The Dr.s that are being brought up on charges for drugging helpless sick people with horrific amounts of abx is in fact criminal.
I know that abx do not work. And everyone on this site who is over dosing on abx are sick and now broke as well.

There was a very common drug used for 2,000 years before abx hit the market.
It is called collietal silver.
It has made all of my symptoms away. I feel great. I have been given lyme over 4 times. I have been so tired of being so ill.
It has worked for me.

Yes some time I do not write things correctly. You are right it is a bacteria for sure.
I meant to bring up the disease that was told to be only in the rabbits in Martha's Vineyard.
Tularemia. Which will kill you in about two weeks flat. It comes on like a flu. It has killed abut 4 of my yard men in martha's vineyard in the last 7 years. Yes I got rid of the houset there.
But the whole rabbit thing is a lie. Since we all know that ticks move from host to host and that they can carry this along with a bunch of other disease's as well.

You have a nice husband. It is a informative book that does not make it seem like the end of the world.
The internet has a lot of stuff about MSP, or collidal silver.
What I liked about it was that is was used for many many years as a abx till about 1950, and then was sort of tossed out after the big pennicilans came out on the market.
MSP has the micro shape of a arrow and supposedly the lyme spirochett does not recognise the MSP as a threat and therfore it does not protect itself and so it gets killed.
