Physical Therapists comments on Lyme

I am getting Physical Therapy (pt) for my neck pain.

At the place where I am getting pt they see a lot of Lyme patients.

My PT person said she finds that if Lyme patients were diagnosed after 5 years of being bitten, exposed they have mostly joint problems.

If the diagnosis is less than 5 years the problem with the Lyme patient is more musculo-skeletal.

It is nice to be at a medical facility that is understanding and sympathetic to Lyme patients.

I am getting massage and exercises for my neck. my chiropractor retiredotherwise I wouldn't be doing the PT. The PT is helping me develop upper body strength but there is degeneration in my neck that PT can't help.


Luckily the PT is being paid for by my insurance but it is for radiculopathy no one on any official form is mentioning Lyme.
