I was tested for food allergies on my last LLMD appointment. All of them,16, were reactive (positive), with 4 being the most reactive. I had the intradermal injections. I had no itching or burning at the sites.
I have never had any reactions to these foods after consuming them. My doctor told me the only way to know if it's a "true" allergy is to eliminate it for 4-6 weeks, then slowly reintroduce one at a time to see what response you get. I also tested gluten sensitive several months ago, so to eliminate all these foods would make life much more complicated.
Have any of you had the same testing done? What are your thoughts? Do I need to just humble myself and stop eating these foods? I've stopped the 4 most reactive: potato, banana, orange and almond. The others are chicken, beef, corn, soy, rice, wheat, tomato, brewers yeast, eggs and milk. What's left to eat?
