Good days and Bad days -- What does it mean?

Is this the path to recovery or just the course of a chronic disease

Just when I think it may be ending, I'm back to square one

I feel overall I'm deteriorating, but every few days I catch a glimmer of hope. And even though, when I'm feeling better, I'm still not well

It sure beats a never ending hell

(Lyme also has me waxing poetic. Sorry. I am a poet and I didn't even know it. Seriously. I'm feel like s#$%)

That is how it goes. Good days and bad days, but the fact that you are having glimmers of hope and good days or good moments, means you are on the right path. Eventually the good days come more often and the bad days start to decrease until you are doing very well. When the bad days outweight the good days means you still have some work to do.
