Lyme, babesiosis, ehrlichiosis. Question Please help.

I have been on antibiotics since August 08. I am on Bactrim 2x a day and Cedax 2x a day also just started taking Arteminsin.

My question is my toes all of a sudden are getting this cramping pain in them only in my right foot and then I get pins and needles.

Could this be from the Lyme Disease and Co Infections? Or should I be concerned about ALS?
I am freaking out please help.

Well I don't know which one causes the needles. But I hear it alot on the forum. But yes it is the lyme and your co-infections.
You will get so many different issues that come and go.
I get the pins and needles in my face sometimes. And toes and cramping pains...yes all lyme easily. It will give you pains all
over the place.
Darlin, you don't have to worry about ALS, you have enough on your plate now. And everything that you have will make you
feel bad, you have a long road ahead of you, you are just getting started on your recovery. Get some good books, like Coping
with Lyme Disease By Denise Lang. It will make you feel better to read about all of the symptoms that will always be popping
up at weird times. And to know what is happening and that there are alot of people who have the exact same thing as you, will
help you not to panic.
Lyme will also make you freak out more easily. lol. And you are not going to be able to handle stress the same way.
so read the good book, while you can, lol, and don't freak out. Have you got a phyciatrist yet? I think it is a good idea to get help
to deal with the stress and to help you function. And to help you sleep and relax some. You have a lot on your plate.
Do you have a supportive family and friends?
Are you happy with your Dr.?
Oh and list your dosage. Many on here really know a lot about drugs and your diseases. How old are you?

Hello Martha. I am 46 years old. I have a wonderful family that supports me and good friends. Thank you for your suggestion on the book I will check it out.

All the symptom you are experiancing could be related to Lyme or other co-infections. Martha's Vineyard gave you some good suggestions. Please read up as much as possible, there is a lot to learn. I hope you find all the answers you need, and get well soon!!

Brandon, I just read your story. I am glad you are doing much better. I was sick for a month running back to my doctor 3x a week. She took two Lyme test both came back negitive. Finally someone put lyme in my head and Thank God they did. I researched and found this board which helped me find a good LLD. And also made some wonderful new friends.
I am doing so much better then I was in August. It just freaks me out sometimes when weird stuff happens to my feet and It all feels like the classic ALS when it is Lyme and Co-Ifections. So every now and then I feel like I need to be reassured that it is Lyme and nothing else Lyme also has me having more anxiety then ever before so I guess thats another reason why I sometimes get that scared feeling. I mean Lyme is bad enough but at least you can get better. Are you totally off your meds for good? Or are you taking a brake and just seeing what happens?
I wish you a 100% recovery.
