Just wondering how many of you also have Endometriosis? I've had it since my early 20's. I was wondering if there is a connection.
Thanks, KO

There's a doctor in California who believes there is a connection between Lyme and Endo in some cases. His website states that Lyme bacteria has been found in endo implants. It's an interesting theory. He believes that if you still have endo symptoms after proper removal of all the endo implants, you should be treated for Lyme.
And yes, I have endo. I have more problems with the endo than with the Lyme.

I have Endo and have had Lyme for Years. I feel that they are related, I am not a doctor but it makes sense to me. You immunesystem is so busy fighting lyme is starts attacking you own body. This is just my opinon. I really do think its related and I have met many people with Lyme who have it, or many people with "Lyme Symptoms" who have endo.

What about
those of us with Endo that have never had LD? I was diagnosed two years ago with Endo and never tested positive for LD.

sj1982, Most people here haven't tested positive for Lyme. The test are VERY inaccurate. Lyme is suppose to be a clinical diagnosis (it rarely is). Most doctors rely on the ELISA test which is, as I said very inaccurate.
Take Care, KO
