Low seratonin level

Hi Guys: I was wondering how many of you with Lyme have low levels of seratonin? My appt yesterday was very disappointing but they did find very low seratonin and I was wondering if that is in any way related to Lyme Disease. Anyone know?? Thanks  D

Thanks Lisa, did he think the low level  was related to Lyme in some way? They gave me l-tryptophan to  take apparently your body needs that to make seratonin. Were you low just in seratonin? What does 5HTP do and is it a prescription?? Thanks for your help, I do not have an LLMD so I am trying to figure all of this out..  Dowa
