Ticker, can you recommend a doctor to do hormone testing

I am in NY, close to Westchester but one hour from Manhatten, I would like someone to test my hormones as I am so confused, if I am feeling lyme or other issues, I am really doing great besides for some pain in my knees, flutuating blood pressure once in a while, and a weird feeling that is hard to describe, maybe a strong pulse or vibrating feeling , or feels like my blood is moving around, some tingling in my legs and arms, I know this doesnt make sense but cant imagine how else to describe this

Hi judy3.  I am glad you have improved so much!  Are you still being treated for Lyme?  The symptoms you describe can be Lyme symptoms.

To find a doctor for hormone testing, I suggest calling a compounding pharmacy in your area to see if they can recommend someone.  Doctors who treat hormone deficiencies often use compounding pharmacies to make the meds they prescribe.  I had the saliva testing done for this.  You can also ask the compounding pharmacy if the doctors they recommend do saliva testing.

I am off meds for Lyme since March, I just saw Dr F in Jersey and  she didnt think I should be retreated, I still show positive through MDL on band 41, should I be concerned, I am thinking of taking a Cal Mag, do you think this should help with my crazy symptoms?

Suzanne sommers is the guru on hormones. You can find a dr from her site

I'm going to a private clinic in April that she recommended. There are few if any dr's who will be willing to address your hormone issues. If you were a man, they would listen to you.

There is a fabulous book, The Natural Hormone Makeover, that tells how to recognize and test hormones.
