Help for the stiffness

Hi everyone,

I have stiff joints -- especially my neck and hands.

What is anyone doing to abate that stiffness symptom?

Thanks,

Hoping for Remission (if I cannot be cured) Or Hoping for abatement of symptoms for longer periods (Not saying I gave up I just need help now)

I have very bad stiffness too especially in my hands to the point where I could barely bend my fingers some days. My neck is always stiff too. Those are my worse problems. I take a supplement with chondrotin and glucosamine in it and it made a big difference with the pain and stiffness. I was to the point of taking a pain pill it was so bad. I've noticed I'm not as stiff anymore. Search for those two ingredients online. They really help. One is for joint pain and the other is for inflammation.

I have a lot of pain during the last month and the doctor told me today that Quercetin should help reduce inflammation along with a new herbal remedy called fibroboost. When I get it, I will let you know what is in it. I also find that hyaluronic acid helps me a lot. It replaces collagen in your joints, skin and eyes.

I use Celebrex. It does help with joint pain.  There are some reports of bad side effects but I didn't have any.

It is expensive. I had to fight with Insurance co. to get it for $35 a month.

My neck pain is sometimes unbearable however the Celebrex helps.

Omega 3 helps with inflammation. Seems to help my stiffness.

I found out that food allergies/sensitivities were making my pain worse. Stopped eating the "bad" foods and my symptoms lessened. The omega 3 oils and MSM also helped. My naturopath has given me many supplements over time and it has improved even more. I think a good naturopath is worth their weight in gold! Detoxing can help, too. Best wishes to you. bablymers mom
