I agree with Dee, Momtothree,
it is so important to
open those elimination channels. If your body is loaded with toxins to begin with and your elimination organs (liver, kidney, etc..) are already working overtime, they cannot manage a sudden dump and the body re-uptakes those toxins. That is most likely what made you feel so badly.
We always encourage a slow beginning and that warmth vs. hot. When you finish the bath (make sure you are well hydrated before taking a bath, as well - lemon water!), stand slowly and rinse in cool water to prevent your blood from pooling in the joints. It stimulates the circulatory system and oxygenates the bloods.
It took our daughter a very long time before she could tolerate the baths; but this last year in particular (her third in treatment(natural at this stage of the battle) - going on 4) she tolerates it so much better. Acupuncture, Vit C IVs (Myers Cocktail), IV L-Glutathione, gentle lymphatic massage and homeopathic lymphomyostat drops have contributed tremendously to this improvement in flow. She was once yellow. Now, she is a 'lovely, ballerina pale'. Her battle continues; but we are grateful for each gift.
Blessings,
~d
