Hi CajunGirl,
I was just about to sign off for the night when I saw your post. I can explain more tomorrow when I'm on the computer again if you like, but for now:
I was diagnosed with Essential Tremor by a neurologist in 2003 based on my significant right hand tremor. It affected my handwriting, applying makeup, doing paperwork, or doing anything requiring fine motor skills. It's apparently a ''slowly progressive neurological movement disorder.'' It's the most common movement disorder, and it can spread to the head, neck, arms, legs.
The interesting thing is that the tremor is hardly ever present anymore, and my handwriting is nice again. I think this is because of the long-term antibiotics (started Jan/08). I think it was misdiagnosed.
If there's anything more you'd like to know, about this or anything else, please ask away! Take good care.
