Any suggestions for head pressure?

Every single day I feel as if someone has my head in a vise, pushing in from the temples.  Anyone have any suggestions for relief?  Not glad I have lyme, but after three yars, glad I now know that this head pressure willl hopefully go away. 

i too have had this, my nerp gave me gabapentin 300mg x3 it did help me more then anything else i have tryed. i still have headaches but nothing like i did b4

advil sometimes help -- i take six a day when necessa.

Am finding and it was confirmed here -- it is the weather! Depends on what's blooming out there.

Roses -- you can flair at certain times...the theory is they activate at the same time...don't know how that's possible. but anything is. it's a flair rather than a herx since you're off all meds.

If you aren't treating babs or mystery proto thing (eww!) try a sauna or bath (hot hot w/ steam).

Someone suggested it to me, and yep! IT WORKS. (See my post on same subject -- different location -- back of head).

I bet I have babs but i test negative and am out of doctors and prescription money. SO, I'm on doxy and garlic and green tea.

I have horrible head pressure, but I’ve just discovered that I have MAV (migraine associated vertigo). I also am in perimenopause and feel it’s related to that. I feel that my lyme is 99% healed so I don’t associate it to lyme.
I was sick for years with lyme but the head pressure only started 2 yrs ago, when I got a bout of vertigo.
Don’t fall into the trap thinking every ache and pain is lyme related.
Until there is reliable testing for lyme, it’s wise to rule out other causes as well.

I just figured out you're talking about neurontin...which is also prescribed for fibro...while looking this up, I learned that neurontin's double first cousin is none other than Lyrica...That drug that was recently all over the airwaves with the couple in front of St. Louis Cathedral traipsing along buying handbags and holding hands.

Anyways, I digress. How is it working out?

It is hard to not fall into that trap described by peacesoul.

Since I got the rash I have had weird burning pain -- it's gone now.

But then the D@#$ trigger fingers set in.

Next, two crunchy and painful shoulders, one episode tendonitis, comes and goes.

Neck that pops but back of head sounds like shattered glass.

Oh and a few corisone shots in both heals -- plantar fascitiis it's called AND morton's neuroma.

What a difference a year makes.

To think, I never went to the doctor before this year. LOL.
