I went to the ENT for this and they ruled everything out from an ENT's standpoint.

That, he says, is the good news..(great news really as that type of vertigo usually lands one in hospital)...

Bad news, still not sure what's causing it.

I suppose it's lyme as dizziness can be caused by the fibro- type symptoms. But I never had it before starting antibiotics, so I'm wondering.

It's a symptom of something...He says rule out vestibular disorder. That leaves vision. That leaves neurological.


The vision would be easy to eliminate -- if dizziness goes away when I close my eyes.

Anyone else w/ dizzy spells?

yes i started with them a few weeks ago, whent to my PCP for it and he placed me on Meclizine 25mg for it. it seems to help a lot. now i ran out of it and its coming back. i go back to my PCP in 3 days. will be asking for more..lol

I hope you find some relife from it soon.

I googled your prescription and it's used to treat motion sickness.

I know it's all Lyme but what did the lyme do to cause motion sickness, especially if my ears are fine?

i'm not sure but it hit me like a ton of bricks. 1 day i was fine then all of a sudden i was dizzy if i moved my head looking up was totaly out for me till i was placed on the meclizine. also u can get it over the counter. just look for the one with meclizine in it 25mg, so do not have this but something else in it at 50mg so be carefull.

my eares at fine too.actuley they better the fine, i hear things no one else hears..lol i am at the point where i cant stand to be around anyone eating. i hear every lil smack, it drives me crazy. it saves on my speskers tho volume leval sets at 4 or 5 for me..lol
