Looking for info on Grapefruit Seed Extract killing cyst form of LD

I know that I read that Grapefruit seed extract kills the cyst form of LD, but I can't find it now.  Anyone have a link to the article, or know where I might have seen it?  Thanks, KO

The Grape Seed Extract (Citrosept,which is made with Citricidal ,the Originalsproduct from Dr.Harich) kills the normal form from Borrelia too.

KO,I have just readed,that you were on Zhang´s Protocol too.

Why did you stop the treatment after 6 months?

Did your symptoms completely disappear after 6 months with this protocol?

And did they return after you stopped the protocol?

Or did they return when you were still on this protocol ?In don´t understand what you mean.

Franziska,  My symptoms started to come back the last 2 months on Zhang's.  I didn't feel like i was making any progress.  I stopped to have my CD-57 checked and then decided to try Buhner's protocol. 

P.S.  I herxed on my 5th day of Buhner's.

And in den the first 4 months...did you feel better?

I have readed,that 20 percents of the patients didn´t feel better with Zhang´s herbs.I hope,I belong to the 60 percents,who completly heal with this treatment.Sure is that I feel now better than with ABs (I took previously during 5 months Minocycline and Hydroxycholoroquin,without effect).

What ist the Buhner´s Protocol?Which herbs do you take now?

I know Lyme patients ,who made good experiences with the Grapefruit Seed Extract from Dr.Harich.One Patient healed completely after 2 years with this treatment.It would be for me an alternative if the Zhang´s herbs have no effects.I find good that it kills the cystic forms too.I am not sure that the herbs from Dr Zhang can make that too.I maybe will take the Grape Seed Extract with the Zhang´s herbs,to kills the cysts too.

Franzi,

I had very slow progress with Zhang's, my symptoms slowly improved until about 4 months when I started to feel some of my symptoms coming back.  When I stopped after 6 months to check my CD-57 most of my symptoms returned. 

Buhner's core protocol consist of Cat's Claw (plain, not TOA free, so it's cheaper), Reseratrol, and Andrographis.  I just started my 4th week today and am tolerating it well.  You can read more in his book Healing Lyme, I got my copy from Amazon.com.

I'll probably add the grapefruit extract after I taper back down the doses (after 2 months), I have enough pills to swallow right now, and I want to see how the core protocol works by itself.  I did have a pretty good herx on my 5th day.  My herxs were mild while on Zhang's.
