i'm not sure whats going on with me. all of a sudden my hole head feels swollen a lot of pressure to it. my eyes feel as tho they are about to pop out of my head. and  everything  is blurry.

i am use to seeing blurry if within arms reach, but this is different. i mean everything is blurry to me, like i am look through a milky coating in my eyes. its odd.

my question  is should i go to the ER for this or wait and go to my PCP tomorrow, who btw will not  discuss Lyme at all.

oh yeh as i was getting up to go to the pc i almost feel. my blance is off more then normal

If the pressure is really bad and painful and getting worse, go to the ER.

I have found the best and the brightest docs work there. A fresh pair of eyes beats your PCP any day of the weak.

I had this VERY same symptom and it was so very scary I wish in restrospect I'd gone to an ER. They might have done something.

The way it is now I'll see a neck doc wed. and a headache doc in Sept.

No one cares about my suffering either. It totally sucks.

But the good news is, if you can call it that, is that were not alone in medical system that fails us. If fails everyone. Even those without Lyme.

Although Lyme is 1000000 times worse since not a single doc will ever diagnose CHRONIC LYME DISEASE and if they do, they want you're mortgage on your house as they don't take insurance.

Sorry. I just feel SO screwed every which way.

Hi RD,

I'm so sorry that you are having head and vision problems.  Is it possible for you to either take a detox bath or foot bath?   If you do not have epsom salts in the house, do you have dry mustard powder and cayenne pepper for a foot bath?  That would really help in my opinion.

its been 3 hours now and i still fell bad, it is starting to hurt. kinda like a sinus infection in my eyes and cheak on the left side, right cheak is fine, but both eyes hurt. i mean llike i'm bug eyed. but i'm not. the pressure is awefull. i am at the point i cant see well enough to even read the post here now.

call someone and have them drive you to the ER...

Are you on antibiotics? Can that cause a sudden increase in ICP? I know it did with me.

it finely let up on me at about 2am. i am doing a lot better today. no i am not taking abx at the time, but i have to start my 1 a day for 3 days today, its a 10 day cical, very odd to me. all i know is it scared me a lot. not to be able to see at all without it being blurry.

i think if it happens again i will go to the ER.
