Thanks. I took it at 2:00pm and I'm already starting to feel bad. My neck is stiff and my joints hurt. What is it with me reacting so fast to these medicines? Am I that full of bacteria? Geez!

Jen,

No, I'm not taking Biaxin right now. I've been feeling so bad and have been really weak since I did the combo of meds. I decided that since I did have a herx and a good reaction on Amoxicillian, that I would try that first to build my strength. So, I'm just doing Amoxicillian for now and then I will get back on Biaxin and Mepron later.

Gotcha. I haven't had anything extreme happen on the Biaxin/Flagyl combo or on the Biaxin alone. I don't know what's going on.

No, it's not...and the heat just kills me. It's been almost 90 here for the last couple days. I know it's good that I'm sweating, but I hate how I feel.

I know how you feel about the heat. It's reached 100 here. My electric bill went up $100.00 in one month!!

I sure wish something good would happen with your treatment. I know you must be frustrated. I wish there were something I could do to help. I see your mom came around a little? That's a start.

She came around BIG time...she's been so supportive and going extremely out of her way to make sure I'm comfortable here in the house.

I wish something would happen too. I think it's about time. I have to say it's not nearly as bad as when the intensified symptoms first started. I was walking around like a zombie then, and it's not quite like that now. So there has been progress. I'm just unsure of whether it's abx related or natural.

I'm so glad she came around. It feels good when you have support, especially from your family. My mom was the same way in the beginning and now she finally tells people I have Lyme.

As for as the antibiotics go, they can't hurt you. Thank God for that.
