I read about Lyme not liking higher body temps or oxygen in the blood. Also, that one should exercise to raise body temperature and oxygen levels. Would serious exercise be something that should be done, along side with detox or would one be able to do exercise OVER detox?

You're right about temperature. Until the past couple of days (major heatwave going on here and probably everywhere else!) my temp has not ever reached 98 degrees. I was actually at 98.7 the other day! I've been very shaky and not feeling well, and I think being overheated is partially the cause.

I've had lyme for about 23 years. I played ice hockey until 2005. That year the disease really hit me hard. That is also the year that I finally got a diagnosis.

cajungrl, I am trying the best I can. Sometimes I can't believe what I read about other people and the things people have to go through. I'm 1/2 paranoid, 1/2 scared, and 1/2 lost. I am calling my ins co for another doctor and I am calling back my doc and asking that he up my doxy dosage and give to me for a longer duration. I have the test kit from igenix lab in CA coming this week as well. I guess that is just for testing of co-infections since my first blood work already confirmed that I have lyme, western blot of 3.2 and igm of 6.2... I mean what do those numbers mean anyways, I can't find a "chart" to match it up to, i would really love to know how bad/good those numbers are. would it be prudent for me to send the blood to ca for the coinfections testing?

I don't know. I just had the blood drawn at my doc and off it went. I guess I can ask the next doc where they send it, or I can ask if I call him again. actually i have to go see him in a bout 1 week cause he wants me too.
