mine hurt most of the time. and my thumb on my right hand has a lil knot on it, that feels as tho the bone is about to go thro it. no one seems to know what it is. i am not able to wright with a pen or penical when it flairs up either.

i was placed in Metanx 2x daily for the burning and pain in my fingers. it helped me a lil bit. maybe you can have or ask your Dr. about this med.

I am on mepron/zithro now I have been on it like 4 months with breaks at the 6 week points. My hand was very bad last summer. I couldn't even write or open a water bottle. Knuckles hurt sometimes. I have a little knot on one of them but it isn't bad. I can only notice it.
Overall my hand is so much better. Hardly any pain most days but when it hurts it hurts!!!

My hands give me trouble too and when I have a flare, I cannot open water bottles either. Or any jar for that matter. I couldn't even cut my meat at one time because they hurt so bad.

My knuckles don't hurt though.
