I am sorry you are dealing with so many issues.  Do you think you could have Lyme disease?

Regarding Social Security disability, it is usually a long process.  If you are unable to work, I suggest you start the process as soon as possible.  Realize that many people are denied twice regardless of why they apply.  You may want to start by getting a disabilty attorney.  I believe they only get paid if you win and there is a limit on how much they can collect.

 

My dad was just approved for social security and disability and he has Hep C and Cirhosis. He applied one month and had a check the next month. I think you have a good chance getting it.

I was approved for "s/p Lyme disease", Chronic fatigue, Fibromyalgia, Depression and generalized Anxiety disorder.  I think the "s/p" stands for something like "symptoms post Lyme disease" - or some other stupid acronym.................. but, it was my 3rd try at Medicare SSDI and I did hire a lawyer.... the good news was that I did NOT have to go to court.  The Judge just approved it because I had over 400 pages of documentation... and the "gov't" only had 2 pages.  She said at some point it's up to the gov't to prove that I'm NOT disabled.
