Yep, it is real. It was about a doctor that believed there was such a thing as Chronic Lyme and another doctor that called it "Post Lyme Syndrome" where he didn't believe the remaining symptoms were Chronic Lyme but just "symptoms". He treated the symptoms individually.

I'm being "set up" for my 4th round of IV abx (4 in 9 years)..... and today, the nurse(?) on the phone used every word EXCEPT "chronic". - I just let it go, I'll wait til the end of the month and see if they (THE INFAMOUS "THEY") finally start using the wordd "chronic" or not.... I don't care what they call it as long as I (we) get better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

lk yes there is such a thing, and i see it when i look at my neighbor who is right now fighting for her life, due to lyme disease.
