V i feel i need the treatment as soon as i can get it. to me wating 1 day is 1 day more that lyme has to do more damage to my body. as it is i am now starting to have more nuero issues. my way if thinking s , is i can have my body back i want to keep my brain. dang it.

Well at least show him the law passed that is protecting doctors giving abx and the process at hand in connecticut.

he didnt even know about the testing of pee for lyme, how in thw world would he know about Ct. he doesnt care or care to know from what i get from him. he is just after his big bucks to spend 5 mins with me. i do not know of anyone with lyme who can state whats going on with them to a Dr. in 5 mins.

how in the world would they know how to treat you with half the info?

Rottendog - can you call the 'lab' - maybe ask nurse for number - I did this [u.k.] -

have you tried speaking to any LLMD's on phone and asking for some sort of help? these docs. do seem to be more 'caring' than a lot of so called 'specialists'!

just trying to think of something to help.

thank you for your thoughts gorbybelle, i know i have racked my brain trying to think of other ways to get treatment too. and in this part of Tx all roads do not lead to Rome. i dont know if there is a DR who would treat me by phone alone tho, and if they did. i dont knwo if i would be able to pay them. as i know they are not cheap by no means.

Sorry you have to go through with all the heartache of making this Dr. listen. Take the advise of trying to talk to a LLMD on the phone, and see if the doctor you are dealing with will also work along with this LLMD to get you well. There of course are all kinds of ways for them to communicate....HELLO ! ! INTERNET, EMAILS, FAXES. This may be a way for the health care you have thru your county to help pay for this. You do have positive tests, they can't deny that.

Just a lil help from a knowledgable LLMD to the Quack.

What makes me so mad is even after the tests come back, WHY don't they do their own research to help their patient???????

I will be bringing in RD's test results and talking to my LLMD to see if he can help her. There's got to be something someone can do since she does have a positive test. Maybe he knows a doctor closer to her. I hoping he can do something. I can't promise anything but I can sure try.

Maybe I can keep asking for a change of medication and send it to her, LOL. I'm joking of course. But, it's really sad how doctors prescribe antibiotics for everything else and won't prescribe it for something as serious as Lyme. My internist wanted to put me on a long term antibiotic treatment for constant bladder infections.

thanks everyone, and thank you CG for making me laugh. and that in its self is a chore right now. i whent to the IDs office and filde the forms to get all copies of any recordes he has.

V, i wouldnt know how to go about holding a v benefit here. i've only lived here 3 yrs and only was able t owork 1 month after i got her. so i do not know to many folks. and i am not a memeber of the church here as i just havent felt well enough to check them out to find 1 i like.

and there is no way i can just call 1 up and ask them for help. i wouldnt feel right at all doing that. and all my family is 1,000 miles away :(
it is a dang good idea tho.

My husband sent out that email today to find out who that doctor is. Just wanted you to know.
